| Using
the GSA Environmental Schedule
GSA has improved efforts to make buying commercial
services easier for Federal customers by awarding GSA Schedule Contracts.
Under the Federal Supply Schedule Program, GSA enters into government-wide
contracts with commercial firms to provide products and services,
at stated prices, for given periods of time. This streamlined procurement
vehicle significantly reduces the time required to obtain services
because GSA has reviewed vendors' capabilities, negotiated rates,
and pre-qualified vendors to provide services. Federal agencies
place orders directly with the schedule contractor, and deliveries
are made directly to the customer.

the creation of high-quality digital map products. learn more
The GDM Advantage
GDM provides high-quality geographical information
systems (GIS), digital mapping, photorevision, and cartography services
in support of agencies' environmental programs. We provide a complete
set of GIS services, from data acquisition, revision, and integration,
to data analysis and visualization, application development, systems
planning, and infrastructure counseling.
Digital Mapping
GeoDigital Mapping has been providing digital map
products to a diverse user community. GDM is a principal contractor
to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) for the creation of high-quality
digital map products. Since 1992, GDM has been a certified USGS
Digital Line Graph (DLG) contractor supporting the Rocky Mountain
and Mid Continent Mapping Centers.
Excellence in Developing Geospatial Applications
GDM offers GIS and Remote Sensing data acquisition,
data integration, and subject matter expertise to create innovative
GIS solutions to assess and monitor the impact of man’s activities
on natural and cultural resources. In addition, GDM’s highly
experienced staff are familiar with the issues government agencies
face in the areas of environmental planning, regulations, and technical
support. With GDM’s combination of technical and programmatic
expertise, we can translate customer priorities to appropriate and
cost effective technical solutions
Innovative Partnerships
In 1997, GDM established a unique arrangement with
the USGS, creating an Innovative Partnership (IP) agreement with
the USGS National Mapping Division to provide outreach to State
and Federal agencies with interest in acquiring USGS digital map
products not currently available. Through this IP, GDM is creating
a multipurpose, statewide GIS database for the Texas Water Development
Board.
A thorough understanding of environmental
laws and regulations
GDM personnel come equipped with knowledge and experience
with federal and state environmental regulations and reporting requirements.
GDM personnel are especially familiar with regulations and reporting
requirements under the Clean Water Act (CWA), Safe Drinking Water
Act (SDWA), National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA), the Resource
Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), and the Comprehensive
Environmental Liability Act (CERCA). Our work with scanning FEMA
Flood Insurance Maps directly supports CFR Title 44 and the National
Flood Insurance Act. Our GIS and mapping work with the U.S. Forest
supports their mission requirements for maintaining a comprehensive
inventory of forest ecosystem status and trends.
