Frank
Hebard - President / CEO
James
Bisese - Water Programs Manager
Mr. Bisese worked with the USGS for 12
years before joining GDMIS in 2003. He has spent the last 4 years
working with Cyprus to develop a database incorporating all of their
water resources.
Mr. Bisese is experienced in multiple
programming languages including Visual Basic, Visual Basic for Applications,
Perl and SQL. He has over 10 years experience designing and administering
databases stretching across multiple platforms.
Michael
Orris - Senior Production Manager
Mr. Orris joined GDMIS in 1994 and has
held the position of Senior Production Manager for all GDMIS products
since May of 2004. Mr. Orris produces complex digital map products
for our customers, including the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB)
and the USGS. He has a comprehensive understanding of the data produced
and, additionally, has learned entire production flowlines. He is
currently the Project Manager for the National Hydrography Dataset
(NHD) contract between GDMIS and TWDB.
Mr. Orris has contributed significantly
to the development of efficient production processes and new program
development at GDM. He is expert in the use of several mapping and
GIS system technologies on a variety of computing platforms. His
applications experience includes Arc/Info, ArcView and other ESRI
applications, as well as MicroStation, Laser-Scan and ERMapper.
Sean
Deinert - Systems Administrator
Mr. Deinert joined GDMIS in 2002 and
has held the position of Systems Administration Manager since November
2002. In this position, he maintains the servers, workstations,
software and peripheral hardware. Mr. Deinert is our hardware and
software specialist, and the key to the smooth functioning of GDMIS’s
IT System.
Mr. Deinert is an expert in the use of
several mapping and GIS system technologies on a variety of computing
platforms. His application experience includes ArcInfo 8.3, ArcView
3.2 and other ESRI applications, as well as MicroStation and Laser-Scan.
Betina
Castillo - Senior Technician
Ms. Castillo is the GDMIS employee with the greatest
amount of scanning experience having worked with all of our scanners
since joining GDMIS over 10 years ago. She has produced scans as
interim products on large projects and worked on projects consisting
totally of scanning work. When not performing scanning functions,
Ms. Castillo uses photorevised and original DLG data to produce
National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) models for the State of Texas.
This work involves conflation of 1:100,000 scale hydrography data
into 1:24,000 scale models. Ms. Castillo is experienced in the use
of ArcGIS products and performs the first steps in the NHD process.
