DFIRM / FIRM / Q3 Knowledge: GDM has the capability to execute all
requirements to produce FEMA map products. GDM has experience producing
floodplain maps as a subcontractor, where our job was to digitize large
quantities of Q3 data for FEMA. GDM’s high quality of work allowed FEMA to
initiate a map on demand process utilizing the internet, using our products
without additional work. GDM has the skilled workforce necessary to produce
the quantity of FEMA products that you need at unexcelled quality.

Floodplain and Hydro Modeling Experience: GDM is recognized as a
national leader in creating and updating large scale National Hydrography
Dataset (NHD) models. GDM is currently producing NHD for the State of Texas
StratMap program in cooperation with the USGS.

GDM has perfected its process of hydro enforced Digital Elevation Model
(DEM) production and possesses the equipment and skills necessary to
perform floodplain mapping for hazard mitigation planning.

GDM hydro analysis is an increasingly valuable tool as demonstrated by the
Santa Barbara County, California Sewage System Risk analysis and Urban
Storm Water Runoff Studies utilizing extensive data research and remote
sensing techniques.
