To best support our diverse user base we offer file conversion and output to all leading industry formats and standards including those supported by specific image software vendors including TIFF, BMP, JPEG, SID and ECW to name only a few. We also have on staff image format experts that can develop and support custom interfaces should they be required. Images can be provided as individual files or as part of a more comprehensive indexing system.

GDM's foundation is built on solid vectorization and attribution practices and understands the importance of collecting data correctly from the start. GDM's collection procedure consists of georeferencing the scans to known coordinate location, automated vectorization, attribution and edgematching. All GIS layers can be collected by client specification. All lines, polygons and points which represent features on the scans will be as accurate as the source publish map with no missing features. Topology can be built and validation rules established to ensure the highest quality of data. Data can then be transformed into any projection and datum.
